The season for keeping your face warm with a trusty bead is almost over, and with warmer weather just around the corner we will find fewer and fewer beards gracing men's faces. We will see more moustaches over "Movember" , and perhaps a few beards for those who are trying to make 'Decem-beard' catch on, but it is doubtful that there will be as many until winter arrives again. Throughout the winter months there have been some great beards walking about the streets of Melbourne, many of which I unfortunately only managed to admire from a far. Beards are wicked as far as I'm concerned (in case you haven't noticed that yet..). They just add to your style and give it a much more mature and 'I don't care' kind of attitude. They lend a wild, and tribal look to any ensemble and mixed with the right kind of fashion they can look wondrous! My favourite male model for many years has been France's Patrick Petitjean who has done many sensational shoots, from posing as an explorer to channelling Poseidon. During F/W08, he was on the cover of both 10Men and GQ Style, where his look (and his beard) can be described as nothing short of extrordinary.
